FSC and MCAT ( a way to promote your feelings, passion and struggle to the right way ) must read

Friday 18 March 2016

I would like to share my suggestions to you for your better future. This will help you alot in building your passion for your field in our case that is medical.

First of all at the day when you decided to study fsc pre medical at that day you should stuck yourself to mbbs. Think that now you are a doctor in yourself . If your aim in life is not a part of your feelings and vigour then you will never be able to struggle for your better future. So make it a part ofbyour feelings. study day and night with . dream that one day you will be a doctor. At late night when you feel tired during too much study efforts and are fed up then for a moment think that one day you will be doctor and will fullfil your dream, this effort will bring a joy in your life. Then surely its my personal experience that you will feel much better and your mind will be ready to study more and more.

Secondly when your fsc papers are over and you have heard alot that in first MCAT attempt most people doesnt succeed because its very tough etc etc . Friends plz donot stuff your mind with such rubbish. Think that you have high IQ level and you are very brilliant and you will do everything if you struggle . Im damn sure that then MCAT is nothing for you. it will be too much easy for you then. So make your self prepare to pass MCAT in first attempt.

But if its your 2nd or 3rd attempt then please donot loose hope. You can do because if you workhard then you can do everything and make your fate according to your wishes by prayers to Great Almighty Allah. Workhard day and night . these are the days when it is upto you that in which direction you take your fate , life and field. If you workhard , say orayers to Allah offer Namaz then everything according to your wishes is possible.

Students are the one who need too much prayers and blessings of Allah. Because everything is in His Hands. So beg blessings of Him for you. Please offer Namaz five times a day and receite Quran Pak daily. This will help you alot to acheive your goal... thesse are the days which will decide your life. So make these days useful.

Thanks , your well wisher wishes you best of luck :)

MCAT PREPARATION
With proper guidance.

How to Prepare
Here are the tips for the preparation of MCAT. Students should not be confused. Here are tips for preparation of physics, chemistry and biology.
1. Physics
Dear students, the MCQs of physics in the paper are both easy and difficult. There are a total of 44 MCQs. Out of them, about 36 mcqs are quite easy and can be said as book lines. However, remaining 8 mcqs are not as such from the book. These mcqs are always world known and conceptual, not too difficult but quite interesting. In order not to lose 50 marks, which literally DECIDE YOUR MERIT, you have to be keen about those 8 mcqs as well. These mcqs involve diagrams and calculations etc, but are not so difficult. But you must have once gone through them before the entrance test. That's it!!
2. Chemistry
There are a total of 58 mcqs in chemistry. According to the updated syllabus, 2012-2013 about 52 mcqs are quite lenient(no diagrams), but remaining may contain diagrams and the most important questions in the form of diagrams come from AMINO ACIDS and MACROMOLECULES. Moreover, you should have FULL GRIP on your organic chemistry. Because 30 questions are from organic chemistry only. A good teacher can help you master the organic chemistry. If you think that first year chemistry is difficult then don't waste all your time on learning it only. There are 18 mcqs from first year and 40 from second year. So, try to keep a balance. That's it!!
3. Biology
There are 88 mcqs in biology paper. Dear students, ALL THESE MCQs are SIMPLE BOOK LINES except a few (3 or 4). So, you have to prepare it necessarily from book. I don't say that simply CRAM the book lines. You should learn all the topics of Biology like a story, yes a scientific story. Don't cram same to same book words but try to learn everything that is written in the book. And you need not learn any key books or notes in order to GET CONCEPTS. I can say, with extreme honesty that all the concepts are easily available in our textbook. So, you must take your textbook as reference. Learn everything from it, because not even a single word in mcat is from outside the range of your book. So, plz be serious about it. That's it....!
4. English
Now comes the embarrassing question of English (embarrassing for most of the students..). Actually the paper consists of 30 mcqs. These mcqs are very very important in deciding your merit. There are roughly 2 categories of questions:

Vocabulary (4 fill in the blanks and 10 synonyms)
Correction (6 Spot the Error and 10 choose the correct sentence)
So, you have to focus on these 2 things and I CLAIM that VOCABULARY is MORE IMPORTANT.  Not even a single question in the paper of English is without the use of Vocabulary( given by UHS in syllabus "Essential Word Power"). So, you must have firm grip on these 872 vocabulary words. These are very very difficult words and have been eliminated from the Oxford Dictionary. At least, you must know the meaning of each and every word. This will cause your avoirdupois of English be reduced.
In grammar, you should know only the basic and primal concepts of tenses and PREPOSITION. You must learn all the basics, only basics not detailed concepts of verb, adverb, adjective, etc. These questions are very easy for those who are good at English and have a good base. but the students who need improvement must CONCENTRATE on English Grammar and general rules. These rules are taught by teachers. So, prefer them or simply read books for grammar like Captain and Bright. I personally prefer Captain Key book( only its Grammar portion). Thus the key to at least 25 correct questions in English is THE GRIP ON VOCABULARY. That's it!!!!

Instruction, How to study and prepare for the MCAT paper!

Im going to tell you sone keypoints that are stuffed in my mind on my personal experience basis.
First of all during the fsc study you should continue to learn the vocal slowly and steadily. But if you donot focus on MCAT during fsc classes then nothing is to fear.
Now when you have taken tge fsc exams then take rest for just 3,4 days and then start the study of MCAT for this , Buy or lend the books of KIPS from your friend whom given MCAT last time. Learn the vocab from KIPS vocab booklet. As it is much helpful as compared to others. Because it contains the theme pictures of each word so that the sketch is built in our mind. Learn atleast 20 words each day and the next day firstly revise the previous 20 words and learn them whole heartldly and the grammer from the kips grammer book..
Reading the textbook espicially Mr.Chips is Also helpful bz sometimes mcqs are given in papre from it.
Then comes BIOLOGY. Which is 90% given as book lines. So you should learn biology from the textbook  line to line. Moreover concept is also necessary. One thing more is that learn the whole chapter from which the topic is mentioned in the sllyabus of UHS.
Then Chemistry is somewhat tough in Uhs paper. It needs the lectures and guidance of the well experienced teacher. Donot take it easy because more marks are deducted from it.

NOTE: Buy or lend the exercise books like that of KIPS and STARS and manymore. Solve the mcqs from there and past papers also so that your mind may stuck to such triubles that you will face during solving the mcqs  ,, this will broaden your mind. It will prove very helpful one the day when you will be solving the mcqs of uhs.

Thanks... if you have any query send me the mail by following me . Best of luck

What is MCAT and how to prepare it?

Well what's MCAT? The answer is simple MEDICAL COLLEGE ADMISSION TEST ........then why are we thinking of it as exclusion test . Is it difficult or have we made it so . If  your mind is full of such complexities then it's the right place to answer your queries :

 TIPS FOR MCAT PAKISTAN
First and foremost requirement of mcat is to know the syllabus . You can download it and print it obviously to keep a check on you

The link is given below :

http://www.uhs.edu.pk/mcat/ETsyllabus2016.pdf

This is site for admission ùdetails http://www.uhs.edu.pk/mcat/et2016.php#s2

Now about the academy well there are lots in the town but you definitely are opting for the best . I personally find teaching academy of kips the best well a number of academies are given below :
1. KIPS ACADEMY
2.UNIQUE ACADEMY
3.STAR INSTITUTE

Each academy has session with well equipped teachers with teaching time of 2 months , it's the notes and active participation in the class which makes it useful

Next is to sort out the relevant from non relevant

Take the syllabus in your one hand , open the text book and a note book .....write what's in the book and mentioned in the syllabus on the notebook . At the end you ll have a single notebook with all what you want to study on the end day. This may take a lot of time so be patient.

Now comes the practical work take bundles of entry test books from
ILMI BOOK STORE
CARAVAN BOOK CENTER
and practice as much as you can , remember to mark the mistakes and focus on them. For ENGLISH , DAILY PRACTICE IS ESSENTIAL AND THE ONLY WAY FOR BETTERMENT

After this , here comes the academy time again , join CRASH course of any of the above mentioned academy . Try to join a different academy this time so that you become master of all questions.

Rest one week before exam and eat healthy non sleepy food. There is no need for taking grand test it's a mere exertion

Be sure to carry all your accessories and confidence on the day of exam ( take a thick marker to fill the circles quickly)

Best of luck =)
